Only the 1.7L has a belt and rest of the K and R engines have a chain. The Honda Stream is popular in Japan, Malaysia and Singapore but was never available in the USA. The Stream was the first Honda car to feature Gasoline Direct Injection with the introduction of the K20B engine in 2003. In 2006, the 1.8L 138 hp and 2.0L 147 hp Honda R engines were introduced. Sales of Stream cars stopped in 2015.
