The Tundra shares the 3.4 V6 with the Tacoma and T100. The 4.0 was brought to the Tundra in 2005 and during the same year VVTI was added to the 4.7L engine. In 2010, the 4.7 L was replaced with a 4.6 L V8. The 5.7 L Tundra has features like the ability to lock the torque converter, acceleration of 0-60 in under 7 seconds and can tow roughly around 10,000 + pounds.
